Executive Producer - Special Events Industry

Are you fascinated with how technology and design work together to tell an engaging story? As an Executive Producer at Creative Visions, you'll play an integral part creating compelling audience engagement strategies that drive results for our clients. You will unite C-level customers with our Sales and Operations teams in the development of result-oriented solutions, connecting design to strategy. No two days are ever the same! The eal teammate has a Bachelor's degree in Events, Design, or Marketing with 10+ years related experience, can write persuasive proposal copy leading to closed business, and can effectively ect executive coaching and on-site rehearsals. A strong understanding of design s and experiential events is a must. Preferred candidates will have a CSEP, CMP,CMM, or CITE professional certification.

Job Description

Manages all aspects of programs and events assigned, including any combination of the following:

  • Conducts effective client discovery meetings with sales and other team members when applicable
  • Creates compelling event strategies utilizing modern audience engagement solutions
  • Demonstrates a deep understanding of each client's brand, culture, and business objectives
  • Collaborates with Creative Director on design of creative elements
  • Writes compelling proposal copy that leads to closed business
  • Collaborates with sales on the delivery of proposals and contracts to clients
  • Assists in the presentation of proposals when beneficial
  • Develops meaningful relationships with clients
  • Collaborates with internal staff and external resources to accomplish project objectives
  • Monitors progress on projects including the creative process, work flow, scope, budget and profitability
  • Assures client expectations are met on site for live events
  • Provides executive coaching
  • Prepares presenters on site
  • Manages and resolves potential issues and risks during all project phases
  • Enters customer data into CRM according to sales and operations processes for accounts
  • Works to expand existing client relationships
  • Manages multiple programs simultaneously
  • Leads, trains and mentors leagues when appropriate
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional and business publications, maintaining personal networking, and participating in professional and civic organizations
  • Upholds and conducts business with high level of integrity
  • Performs other job-related duties as needed or assigned

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, preferably in meetings, events, marketing, business or related
  • CSEP, CMP, CMM, CITE or other applicable professional designation preferable
  • 10+ years event, meeting and/or conference industry experience

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

  • Ability to work extended hours, nights, and weekends as required

  • Ability to travel required - maximum 33%

  • Skilled in the use of computers, preferably in a Mac, OS-based operating environment including MS Office Suite and Mac equivalent
