Dairyland Power Cooperative, an electric utility headquartered in La Crosse, WI, is seeking a Meeting and Event Planner for the company. This individual will be responsible for the planning, contracting and logistical execution of meetings and events for the Dairyland Power Cooperative.
Education & Experience: Associate degree in business, administrative or related field. Minimum of three (3) years meeting and event planning experience. Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Skills: Knowledge of office equipment, meeting and event planning and food service. Experience with negotiating contracts. Strong relationship building. Strong time management skills and ability to manage concurrent tasks efficiently. Superior attention to detail; excellent organizational skills
Licenses and Certifications: Valid driver’s license. Certified Meeting Professional designation must be attained within four years of assuming this position.
