-Provides leadership on day-to-day operations for an M&E team; taking actions to ensure the availability and development of talent needed to meet current and future organizational needs
-Sets clear, measurable performance expectations
-Drives operational excellence and highest levels of customer service; fostering a customer centric environment where the customer perspective is central to the activity and thinking of the department
-Ensures adherence to operating standards and drives operational excellence
-Ensures proper staffing levels to maintain all deliverables of the client's offering are provided
-Implements necessary training and staff development based on the client's Services Standards
-Implements and maintains required/best in class tools and technology to best serve the client's customers
-Collaborate with Leadership to develop solutions to client requirements and needs
-Implements client's SMM standards. Assists with developing regional innovative ideas, solutions and opportunities to achieve business objectives and further integration with client's SMM offering
-Creates a culture of passion around delivering the ultimate customer experience through engagement and empowerment in work with colleagues and staff
-Communicates with staff at all levels to ensure knowledge of progress, gaps in performance, and link of individual contributions to overall business objectives
-Maintains communication with client and CWT M&E management to ensure that they are aware of client's progress, key changes, and gaps in performance with time enough to develop strategies to address these issues

Client related duties:
-Quarterly meetings with key stakeholders
-Preparing and managing SLA's and KPI's with staff
-Closing the gap between current and desired state through process innovation, team management, and continued improvements
-Centralizing quality control to ensure consistency across region
-Supporting and working in collaboration with Cvent technology
-Creating internal structures to support future growth
-Tracking, measuring and reporting on collected data to enable improvements
-Customer service management including escalation resolution






-Bachelor's Degree
-Minimum 3 years business experience in a leadership/strategic role
-5-7 years experience in a Meeting & Event Planning capacity
-CMP designation is an asset
-Proven people management skills, including management of remote/virtual workers
-Process oriented, project management experience is a plus
-Ability to develop strong customer credibility & relationships
-High sense of urgency to meet deadlines/contract obligations
-Demonstrated success leading projects involving complex project management solutions
-Innovative, conceptual thinker
-Ability to manage and understand budgets, aptitude for financial management
-Strong computer skills in Mac products and Microsoft suite
