Sourcing Manager

ADI Meetings & Events LLC, producers of amazing meetings and incentive travel programs since 1982, is quartered in the greater Phoenix, AZ area. We are seeking a full-time Sourcing Manager to join our sales team in our Tempe office to assist in growing a folio of new and exciting potential clients. This is a hybrid role that interfaces with Sales Team for designing, researching and preparing ADI product related meeting and incentive travel proposals; and managing our sales and marketing efforts. The ector of Operations is your supervisor and will further your continued growth and education in our industry. As a sourcing professional, you are knowledgeable of the hotel industry globally and can entify appropriate venues for meetings and incentive travel programs. You have experience with the RFP process for meetings, events and incentive travel programs and can prepare dynamic proposals. As a sales professional, you will help drive the pipeline growth for our sales team by generating and fostering leads. You have good writing and communication skills to assist in presentation and proposal preparation; and in developing content for special sales projects, newsletters and marketing materials. You're exceptional at:

Sourcing:

• Submit all sales team Request for Proposals (RFP)- source/research/costing - for purposes of preparing proposals to new or existing clients and for vetting vendors/costs for proposals

• Complete a given project from start to finish, researching and developing project budgets within specified deadline

• Create and develop proposals including custom presentation information based on the client RFP needs

• Create and distribute hotel, cruise line, DMC, and CVB RFPs through Cvent or ect channels

• Must have basic destination and hotel property knowledge with willingness to continually enhance knowledge

• Follow-up with suppliers to ensure timely and complete RFP responses/proposals

• Request, manage inquires, and organize RFP responses/proposals

• Provide accurate costings to assist in preparation of proposal or program budgets. Must have a basic understanding of industry costing and budgeting practices.

• Develop and maintain relationships with clients, colleagues and industry contacts

• Assume and perform other duties and responsibilities not specifically outlined herein, but which are logically and properly inherent to the position

Sales Support:

• Research prospects, contact verification, and data entry into CRM

• Prepare sales lateral packets and mailings; assist with sales cycle follow-up as needed

• Write and distribute e-newsletters; and social media posts

• Assist with overall marketing / sales strategies and functions as needed

• Attend prospect industry trade shows in tandem with Sales Executive as needed

• Site inspection planning for sales team

Extra awesome if you have:

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

• 5 years of ect work experience in hospitality, convention sales, site ion or sourcing

o Cvent: 1 year minimum (Preferred)

o Hospitality industry: 1 year minimum (Preferred) o Meetings industry: 1 year minimum (Preferred)

• Skilled in Microsoft Product Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)

• Detail oriented and ability to proof work

• Strong communication skills; oral, written, electronic

• Ability to work in a deadline driven work environment, and ability to multitask

• Strong attention to detail including precise and effective customer communications and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously

• Excellent teamwork skills

• High energy and driven individual who is self-motivated and takes initiative
